Gerontology, ER & nurse educator groups invite LPNs

Dedicated healthcare professionals

Many special interest nursing groups are throwing open their doors to Alberta’s Licensed Practical Nurses and hoping to gain new members:

For Gerontological Nurses

The Alberta Gerontological Nurses Association (AGNA) invites LPNs to join their educational and networking association for those interested in caring for older adults. There are active chapters of AGNA in Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary and Medicine Hat, with chapters forming in Fort McMurray, Viking, and Lethbridge.

Contact AGNA at www.agna.ca or info@agna.ca.

For Emergency Room Nurses

The Emergency Nurses’ Interest Group of Alberta (ENIG) promotes the specialty of emergency nursing through learning opportunities, networking and nursing research. Membership benefits include a quarterly newsletter and annual conference.
