More than 70% of available Conference seats are sold, so LPNs and interested health professionals are encouraged to register soon.
$50 off Conference until April 4
Both LPNs and non-CLPNA members receive up to $50 savings until midnight on Friday, April 4.
LPNs may receive an additional $100 savings via an Education Grant from the Fredrickson-McGregor Education Foundation for LPNs. A link to the Grant Application is provided during the Conference registration process.
Hotel rooms rates rising
After 5:00pm on April 4, any remaining hotel rooms will be released to the public. With nearly 400 attendees expected, in previous years the Conference has filled the hotel to capacity, and some delegates had to find suites in other locations.
“Explore Wellness” is the theme of this year’s annual Conference of the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) on April 30 – May 2, 2014.
Licensed Practical Nurses, health care professionals, managers and employers will be challenged to focus on patient centered care by becoming more attuned to the context of people’s lives, the real needs of patients, and the factors affecting their health.
The Conference also features the CLPNA’s Annual General Meeting, fancy-dress Awards Dinner, 100’s of fund-raising items at the Silent Auction, and dozens of health care exhibitors. Breakfast and lunch are provided.
