It’s the last chance to register for Barb Bancroft’s seminar series on a “Clinical Focus on Geriatrics” in Calgary on November 17, 18 and 19, 2015. Seminars are open to all health professionals.

Barb Bancroft RN, MSN, PNP is a widely acclaimed national speaker, noted for her humorous, entertaining and information packed seminars. She is author of four books, her latest, Kiss My Asparagus, An Essential Guide to Nutrition’s Role in Health and Disease.

Education Grants are available! Eligible LPNs (with an Active Practice Permit living in Alberta) may qualify for 100% reimbursement for these courses through the Education Grant Program.

Seminar 1 – Polypharmacy: The Pearls, the Perils, and the Pitfalls

Attend this seminar to hone your skills in providing safe pharmaceutical treatments for the multitude of clinical conditions encountered in your aging population.

Seminar 2 – The Neurology of Aging

Barb provides a comprehensive discussion of the most common Neurological conditions observed in the Geriatric population–physiology, pathophysiology, assessment, and treatment.

Seminar 3 – The “OLD TICKER”: The Geriatric Heart

You will learn the “ins and outs” of the numerous classes of drugs used to treat cardiac conditions–their indications, contraindications, side effects, adverse effects, and drug interactions.

CLPNA Members – $125 (incl. GST).
Non-Members – $165 (incl. GST).

Eligible CLPNA Members may qualify for 100% registration fee reimbursement through the Education Grant Program. Submission of a Grant Application Form is required.

Payment must be submitted along with your completed registration form to the email and address provided. Once processed, your registration confirmation will be sent by email. Please allow 3 business days for processing.

Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to A $25.00 cancellation fee will apply for each session cancelled until November 2, 2015 (for Calgary seminars). After the date noted, no refunds will be issued.
