Infusion therapy is an efficient way to deliver all aspects of fluid and medication by “intravenous” application. Besides the many benefits, there are inherent risks that must be considered. Licensed Practical Nurses have a responsibility to keep current in their knowledge and competent in all areas of their professional practice through continuing education. Safe practice is paramount.
Infusion Therapy Self-Study Course
The new Infusion Therapy Self-Study Course available from Study with CLPNA is designed to prepare LPNs by building on previous nursing knowledge in infusion therapy, care of central lines, blood transfusions and much more. This course includes learning activities, quizzes and study guide.
A printable CLPNA Certificate of Completion is available upon passing the Final Exam.
