WEBINAR: Falls and Fall-Related Injury and Prevention (Nov. 5 & 26)

What causes a fall? Are there ways to help your patients prevent falls? A fall can have a significant impact on the lifestyle and independence of a patient or older adult. Among seniors in Alberta, falls are the leading cause of injury. Between 20-30% of seniors will fall at least once per year.

November is Falls Prevention Month and the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) is excited to partner with The Injury Prevention Centre to provide LPNs with information on:

  • Recognizing risk factors that may lead to a fall
  • Identifying interventions that may help patients prevent falls
  • Free Resources to provide to patients and families

Includes a LIVE Q&A.

This webinar is FREE! There is no registration fee to attend.
