Self-Study Module: PTSD Awareness and Mental Health and Wellness for LPNs

Research shows there is a high occurrence of stress in the lives of healthcare providers, including nurses, and this can have a significant effect on psychological health and well-being.

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta’s self-study module, PTSD and Mental Health and Wellness for LPNs, is designed to provide LPNs with an understanding of the potential impact of a high-stress work environment, increase awareness of signs and symptoms of post-traumatic stress, and support wellness and resilience within the nursing profession.

This free and interactive online learning module is suitable to assist LPNs in meeting the Learning Plan goals of the CLPNA’s Continuing Competence Program.
