Video: Connecting Regulation to Professional Practice

The way Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) connect their regulatory responsibilities to their nursing practice is of utmost importance. Meeting these expectations requires that LPNs provide safe, competent, and ethical nursing care. Professionalism requires that LPNs demonstrate professional standards when providing nursing care and collaborating with patients, colleagues, and other members of the health care team.

This video highlights the many components of LPN professional practice examined through a regulatory framework developed by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
