THE ROLE

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Human Resources (HR) Advisor is accountable for the provision of operational HR support within the CLPNA and to its employees. The HR Advisor is responsible for a range of duties including recruitment and onboarding; providing employee relations advice and guidance to employees and supervisors; researching and implementation of HR best practices; providing metrics and data to enhance business decisions; as well as support the administration of HR processes including time and attendance.

The successful candidate is dedicated to providing excellent customer services to CLPNA employees, leadership, Council, contractors, volunteers, and our external stakeholders. Utilizing their experience and demonstrated knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards Code and human resource best practice, they provide advice, guidance and support in all HR matters while making recommendations for improvement and growth.
