Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) practice has evolved since 2003 when the regulation was first proclaimed under the Health Professions Act. The current regulation authorizes LPNs to perform a broader range of activities to support care provided to individuals and their families.

The LPN Profession Regulation identifies the LPN scope of practice related to restricted activities and advanced authorizations, including areas of advanced practice
