New Video Series Supports Understanding of the CLPNA Complaints Process

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) has launched a series of eight videos explaining different aspects of its complaints process.

These videos provide information for members of the public as well as LPNs and other stakeholders. They explore the process by which a complaint against an LPN is received, investigated, and resolved under the Health Professions Act.

The videos are separated into eight different topics:

  1. Mandatory Reporting
  2. What Is a Complaint?
  3. Initial Actions of a Complaint
  4. Suspensions, Conditions, and Restrictions
  5. Investigation Process
  6. Legal Authority
  7. Possible Resolutions
  8. Hearing Process

These videos are all available now on the CLPNA’s YouTube channel.
