About the CLHA
The College of LPN and HCAs of Alberta (CLPNA) regulates the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Health Care Aide (HCA) professions in a manner that protects and serves the public. The CLHA regulates these professions by setting entry-to-practice requirements; establishing, promoting, and enforcing standards for registration, practice, and professional conduct; and enhancing the care provided by members of the profession through the Continuing Competency Program.
