The CLPNA is looking for committed Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to volunteer for Committee involvement for the 2025–2026 term.

The CLPNA provides orientation, training, honorarium, and travel expenses related to committee meetings. Committees currently accepting applications are listed below.

COMPETENCE COMMITTEE

The Competence Committee makes recommendations to the Council on continuing competence requirements and the assessment of those requirements.

HEARING TRIBUNAL

The Hearing Tribunal Committee’s role is to ensure the public is protected from unethical, unsafe, or unskilled nursing care. Members of this committee are the decision makers at the disciplinary hearings of investigated complaints made against LPNs.
