Care of the Older Adult Modules:
Palliative Care
Throughout 2025, the CLPNA will release modules on the care of older adults. These modules provide an evidence-informed lens to support critical thinking, professional judgement, and integrate knowledge of trends and issues related to care of the older adult.
New module: Palliative Care
Coming next: Health Promotion
The newest available module in the Care of the Older Adult series will give LPNs an overview of the processes and purpose of palliative care. Palliative care provides support, care and advanced planning to help improve the comfort and quality of life for individuals and families facing a life-limiting and incurable illness.
