In Memory of A Colleague: Linda Findlay
It is with great sadness that the CLPNA announces the death of our longtime team member, Linda Findlay. Many of you may know Linda from her support of the Continuing Competence Program, but she wore many hats during her 15 years with us.
Linda began working as an LPN in long term care, and she worked at bedside for 27 years. During her time at the CLPNA, she participated in planning with the Continuing Competence Interest Group helping to shape the Program as it exists today. Linda had a passion for teaching LPNs and greatly valued education. She completed a Masters degree through Royal Roads and a Certification in Adult and Continuing Education through the University of Alberta, a testament to her lifelong commitment to learning.
The CLPNA will greatly miss her caring nature, patience, and kind demeanor. We hope you will join us in wishing her family and friends our sincerest condolences during this difficult time.
