New Self-Study Module: Health Assessment
A new online self-study Health Assessment module from the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) highlights how performing assessments are important to client safety and outcomes.
Performing an accurate and thorough health assessment is a fundamental skill required of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) as they work in a variety of settings and provide quality nursing care to clients across the lifespan. This module provides the opportunity for LPNs to understand and review the components of a health assessment, including health history and physical assessment.
The CLPNA asks all Licensed Practical Nurses to take advantage of this learning resource. Learning modules are designed to help you understand practice standards and other related documents and keep current with professional practice requirements.
