Learning Resources

Professional development is an important part of maintaining nursing competence. Alberta’s Licensed Practical Nurses are responsible for assessing their individual knowledge and competence in areas of nursing practice to identify whether a knowledge gap exists or if specific education is needed for authorization to practice.

The CLPNA provides ongoing education in a variety of formats to promote the continuing competence of LPNs.
