Developed by donnerwheeler, Career Directions is a proven framework specific to supporting nursing and other health care professional’s careers.

This program is a great way for Licensed Practical Nurses to help realize their career goals by taking charge of their careers and plan their futures with confidence and purpose.

Career Directions is a guide for you to use as you travel along your career journey. It provides you with an opportunity to review your career to date; learn strategies to assist in making future career decisions; and learn how to develop a career plan.

This online program will introduce you to the concepts, skills, and tools of career planning and development through a series of multimedia videos. The video portion of each module will take approximately five minutes to complete. Then, there is an opportunity to explore what each module means to your career with independently completed activities. The activities are in PDF format, so you can download them, work on them at your leisure and keep them to revise and change as you develop over time. There are also links to additional resources, including information and tips on resumes and interviews.

Finally, Career Directions also includes webinars (online seminars) led by a career coach, in which you will have an opportunity to ask questions and talk with other participants after you complete the online program. Watch for upcoming dates.

We will also be offering Career Directions workshops. Watch for upcoming dates.
