Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP)

The Pre-Authorized Payment Plan (PAP) is a CLPNA pre-payment option that allows members to pay a future Registration fee for an Active Practice Permit using automatic withdrawal from their bank account.

New subscribers to PAP will pay in advance for their 2021 Registration fee in 10 monthly withdrawals of $35 starting February 1, 2020 and ending November 1, 2020.

PLEASE NOTE: New subscribers to PAP cannot use PAP to pay for their 2020 Registration Renewal fee.

New Subscribers

To subscribe, submit a completed PAP Subscription Form (click below) and a VOID cheque to CLPNA.

Subscribers must have an Active Practice Permit in 2020 to be eligible to use PAP for the year 2021.

Current Subscribers


Current subscribers are reminded that, though they have paid their 2020 Registration fee through PAP, they must still submit a completed 2020 Registration Renewal form to receive a Practice Permit for 2020.


Once signed up for PAP, automatic withdrawals will continue until CLPNA receives written notice to cancel the PAP subscription.


Subscribers may update their banking information during the year by sending a new voided cheque or new banking information form from the bank, with your name, your CLPNA Registration Number and address by mail or fax to CLPNA, “Attention: Finance Department”, at least seven (7) business days before the 1st of the month.


If a payment is returned NSF on the 1st of the month, a second automatic withdrawal will be attempted 5 banking days later. If the second withdrawal attempt returns NSF, a $60 payment is required ($35 PAP payment + $25 NSF fee) to remain on PAP.

If your bank account is closed and you cannot be contacted, or if you have had two NSFs, you will automatically be cancelled from PAP and CLPNA will issue a refund for the amount withdrawn to date less a $25 administration fee.


To cancel your PAP Subscription, submit a written request for cancellation to CLPNA, “Attention: Finance”, with your full name, CLPNA Registration Number and current address, by mail or fax, or email Fees paid to date will be refunded.
