No matter where you are in your nursing career, investing the time to determine your professional goals and strategies will provide you with life-long tools to enhance your work life.

Mary Wheeler RN, MEd, PCC, will guide you through a hands-on process to:

  • review your career to date
  • learn strategies to assist in making future career decisions
  • begin developing a career plan

Building Successful Mentoring Relationships Workshop

Mentorship is a relationship and process for sharing knowledge relevant to work, career, or professional development.

Michelle Cooper RN, MScN, ACC will guide you through processes to:

  • Learn about the CLPNA Mentorship Program, program resources and their individual roles and responsibilities as mentors and/or mentees
  • Understand basic concepts about mentoring and the phases of the mentoring relationship
  • Discuss processes to support a mentoring relationships
  • Build a network for ongoing learning and support

Registration fee is $30 per workshop (incl. GST). Includes a participant workbook, continental breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks. Eligible LPNs (those with an Active Practice Permit and living in Alberta) may qualify for fee reimbursement through the Education Grant Program. Submission of a Grant Application Form is required.
