Overview
Outlines the LPN’s scope of practice as it relates to the authorization and requirements for safe management of medication. This policy follows the nursing process and refers to the assessment, planning, preparation, implementation, administration, evaluation, and documentation required in the management of medication.

April 2024 – updated to include initiation and removal of intraosseous devices and reflect the removal of supervision requirements for LPNs practicing aesthetic nursing.
