The Government of Alberta is now accepting applications for public members to serve on health professions regulatory colleges in Alberta.

Public member positions will be available starting in 2024 and will remain open until filled. These positions play a vital role in governing Alberta’s 29 health profession colleges, ensuring they operate in the public interest. Public members are required to bring an independent perspective, attend meetings, and actively participate in decision-making processes.

Public members serve a term of up to three years with a commitment of 10 to 15 days per year. Remuneration is provided based on meeting attendance and may include reimbursement for expenses.
