Radio ads share value of LPNs with northern Albertans
Messages about the value of Licensed Practical Nurses will fill the air this Christmas in the Edmonton area… and beyond.
Two 30-second radio ads developed by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) will be broadcast on hit music stations 102.9 Sonic and 91.7 The Bounce. The ads will run starting December 16 for two weeks, and again in March 2014.
Promoting the value of LPNs
Complementing the radio messages is a CLPNA billboard web advertisement on the Bounce and Sonic websites.
It features an Alberta LPN, and asks, “Why is this nurse so valuable?”, and links to a video message on the nursing knowledge and skills of Licensed Practical Nurses. The ad is expected to receive 20,000 views during each two week run.
The radio and web ads are part of CLPNA’s mandate to educate the public about the role of Licensed Practical Nurses.
