This was not enough time for me to apply for a bursary posted on Feb!9/14
to be done by feb 28/14. this is only about a two week window. I only founf this tonight when my coworker told me about it so i was trying to fill it online and every time i would put info on a line it would change every field to the website never worked. Very disappointed because I may have qualified for this I am in post Lpn/RN through AthabascaU nd am half way through without any sort of funding.
I am also on your mail list but did not receive this after my coworker told me to look in my emails i never found it until I hit your tweet site
Colleen, we’re sorry to hear you had difficulty with the Bursary application process. We would have also accepted a printed and filled in Application form. The degree you are taking, however, likely would not qualify for the Bursary. Eligible programs for the Bursary must “enhance the LPN role”, such as a Bachelors of Human Services Administrator (to manage as an LPN), Education (to teach as an LPN), Science (to research as an LPN), etc. The Bursary does not fund programs that move the LPN into another health profession (RN, MD, Pharmacist, etc.).
