Grant partnership provides funding for LPN focused research

The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) in collaboration with Alberta Innovates, is now accepting applications for the Advancing Knowledge in Practical Nursing Research Grant.

Funding supports and fosters high quality research to build foundational knowledge about the Practical Nurse profession and practice. Successful applications will produce “new discoveries” related to practical nursing and contribute to quality scientific literature.

Applications are due September 21, 2018 and will be independently peer reviewed. This one-year, non-renewable grant will provide up to a maximum of $25,000.

PRIORITY TOPIC AREAS:

  • Indigenous health, multiculturalism, and diversity;
  • Gerontology;
  • Addictions and mental health;
  • Educational research specifically measuring the impact of simulation labs
