A reminder to applicants and members that on July 1, 2019, a number of CLPNA fees will be changed. The adjustments were first announced in April.

There was no change made to LPNs’ annual Registration Renewal fees, which remains at $350/year when paid by December 1.

For Applicants:

  • Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Exam (CPNRE)-only Application – $100
  • Temporary Registration Application – $100

For Members (LPNs):

  • Late Submission of Continuing Competence Program Audit (after June 30) -$100
  • Specialty Application Fee – $100

The one-time Specialty Application Fee is for those applying after July 1, 2019 to receive authorization for an LPN Specialization. Members who have previously received specialization authorization will not be charged this fee. LPNs can check to ensure they’ve received authorization by looking for the specialization listed on their Practice Permit.
