The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) implemented the amended Licensed Practical Nurses Profession Regulation (LPN Regulation) that became effective February 1, 2020 in Alberta.

The amended regulation streamlines how the CLPNA manages registration and clarifies the LPN scope of practice, especially regarding restricted activities.
