Social Media and e-Professionalism: Guidelines for Nurses

Social Media and e-Professionalism: Guidelines for Nurses (CARNA, CLPNA & CRPNA, 2021) was collaboratively developed by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta, the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta, and the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta.

These guidelines support critical thinking and decision-making in the responsible use of social media, and support nurses in understanding the importance of maintaining professionalism and making informed decisions when considering the use of any electronic form of communication.
